What to Expect
Retreat
Spend 7 days and 6 nights in Olhão, Portugal. Enjoy daily yoga, excursions into town, group outings, and ample time for rest, relaxation, and connection.
Accommodations
Choose from one of 12 rooms in a the magical villa of Casa Fuzetta. Single and double occupancy rooms are available and all come with a large ensuite bathroom. You will have your bath linens changed on day 3.
Also included:

- LaEva gold standard organic units of well-being (wash, lotion, shampoo & conditioner)
- Stylish hammam towels and umbrellas for the beach
- Hand made local wicker baskets for trips to the beach or the market

- Top of the range ceiling fans and AC only where it is needed (for the most part the old house design included clever use of natural ventilation, boosted with the ceiling fans.
- Underfloor heating throughout the bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas
The villa has a rooftop pool, multiple terraces, library, and domestic kitchen opening onto a large terrace.
Sustenance
Included is daily brunch (or lunch at the winery) and 4 dinners. Vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, and gluten free can be accommodated.
Travel
Fly into the Faro airport, The journey from Faro airport should be no more than 20 mins. If people are arriving on the same flight, an 8 seater transfer is the most economic. Cost should be no more than 35€ each way; contact information can be provided but transfers will not be organized on this retreat. For those travelling independently, there are always plenty of taxis outside the arrivals terminal. The cost per car is approximately 20-25€.
Check-in time is 4:00PM and checkout time is 11:00AM.
Activities
- Saturday Market: Every Saturday morning the waterfront outside the Olhão market bursts into life with small holders and the local community coming to buy and sell what was in the ground at their farms just a couple of days before.
- The Islands: We will visit one of the Islands (Armona, Culatra, Farol or Deserta) and you are more than welcome to visit one of the others in your free time. They each have a distinct feel but each one has beautiful unspoilt beaches and wonderful low key restaurants/beach bars where you will happily while away the day.
- Wine tasting: Wine tasting with lunch and tour of Morgado do Quintao vineyard. The MDQ estate near Silves is a family owned estate being brought back to life after decades/centuries of neglect. It started producing wines just a few years ago to organic principles and taking advantage of the only heritage vines found in the Algarve. A beautiful example of simple luxury in a rural setting. I can’t recommend a visit enough.
