Retreat on Terceira Island in the Azores
Join us for 6 nights and 7 days on the enchanting island of Terceira in Portugal's Azores Archipelago. Our home for the week will be Xhale Azores which invites guests to immerse themselves in its vibrant culture, intriguing history, and awe-inspiring landscapes. Amidst lush greenery and the gentle symphony of ocean waves, every moment of your stay promises a captivating blend of charm, tranquility, and pure bliss. Located in the serene area of Salgueiros, with stunning panoramic ocean views, and easy access to the ocean, this intimate and exclusive retreat has been created to be aligned with the environment as it offers an uber luxurious yet conscious opportunity to nurture you by pausing from the ebb and flow of daily life.
What to Expect
Retreat
Spend 7 days and 6 nights on the island of Terceira in the Azores. Each day includes 1-2 yoga practices, three meals a day (on non-travel days), guided excursions to explore the island, and ample time for rest, relaxation, or additional adventure.
Accommodations
Choose from single or double occupancy accommodations in one of 10 private suites on the property.
Sustenance
Included is breakfast/brunch, lunch, and dinner inclusive of all protein options, as well as all day access to the coffee station and hydration bar.
Travel
Fly into Lajes Airport (TER) on Terceira Island in the Azores. There are nonstop flights from Boston or regional flights from other European cities, as well as hopper flights from Sao Miguel.
Transport between the airport and retreat center is inlcuded.
Purchasing travel insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment. CFAR (cancel for any reason) insurance covers the most but must be purchased close to when you place your first deposit.
Check in is 3pm and checkout is 11am. Baggage storage is available for late flights.

Pricing
- $500 non-refundable deposit holds your spot
- Please submit your deposit and follow it with an email to info@suryayogastudio.com with your room request. If you have someone you want to room with, please let us know in the email. If you would like a double occupancy room but don't have a chosen roommate, we will do our best to pair you with someone. Please note that if we do not find you a roommate, you will be responsible for the room at the single occupancy rate.
- Within one week of placing your deposit and email, you will receive a waiver of liability and retreat terms and conditions via DocuSign.
- Once the document is signed and we have confirmed your room, you are fully booked.
- Payment plans are available.
- 50% balance due September 15, 2027
- Remaining balance due February 15, 2028

Choose from single or double occupancy accommodations in one of 10 rooms. Guestrooms and suites are spacious and beautifully appointed, furnished with the highest quality materials. Suites also feature terraces with beautiful views. All suites have super soft beds, with luxurious linens, and private baths.
